Tenley Conway is a Professor and Associate Chair, Research in the Department of Geography, Geomatics and Environment at the University of Toronto Mississauga.[1][2][3][4][5]
Education
Conway obtained her BSc. at Cornell University in 1997, and her MSc and PhD in Geography at Rutgers University in 2001 and 2004 respectively.[6][7]
Research
Conway's research uses environmental geography, urban forestry, and landscape ecology to explore the relationship between people and the physical environment in urban areas.[3][4][8] Her most current research focuses on urban forests and green infrastructure.[9] She has over 60 scientific publications.[1][10] Conway also serves as an editor and reviewer for many international journals.[7][2][9][11]
Other
Conway currently serves on the board of directors of LEAF, a non-profit organization that seeks to protect and improve urban forests.[12][13][7]. She also served as a Director on the Board of EcoSpark, an environmental charity.[14][5]
