Surajpura is a small village of 329 hectares in Sheoganj Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Surajpura depends on SHEOGANJ, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 94.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Surajpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Surajpura's pin code is 307027[4], and village code is 02347300. The area of Surajpura is segregated as 94 hectares irrigated area, 120 hectares unirrigated, the 30.06 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 85 hectare area not available for cultivation.
