Stuart Alexander Kluz-Burton[1] (born January 7, 1992[2] in London), also known as Polski Pingwin or Stuu, is a British influencer and former Youtuber, who, until deciding to end his activity on YouTube, made content primarily in Polish. From the beginning of his activity to 2020, his main channel accumulated 4.26 million subscribers.[3]
Life
When he created his YouTube channel, he started recording his videos in English, but stopped due to illness. Two years later he returned, this time creating in Polish under the pseudonym of Polski Pingwin. He made Let's Play videos, mainly on Minecraft.[4] He recorded most of his videos on his main account, called Stuu, but he also made two other channels: Stuu PLUS[5] and Stuu Gry.[6] In 2016, his main YouTube channel was ranked fifth among profiles with the largest number of subscribers in Poland.[7]
He took part in the Polish dubbing of the film Sing and provided the voice of Fried Shrimp in the Polish language version of The Emoji Movie.[8]
Between 2019 and 2020, he was a member of Team X.[9] On April 2, 2019, he also became a shareholder at Game Desk sp. z o. o.,[10] which sells gaming desks under the Alphadesk brand[11]. Since May 27, 2020, he has not been active on social media due to health reasons.[12][13]
Controversy
On October 3, 2023, Sylwester Wardęga published a video on his YouTube channel "WATAHA - Krulestwo" in which he presents evidence suggesting that Burton met and actively conducted correspondence with erotic overtones with girls under 15 years of age[14][15]. Wardęga announced in the video that he had handed the case over to law enforcement authorities[16][17][18]. On October 13, 2023, the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw presented charges against Burton and sent a request to the District Court in Warsaw for the YouTuber's temporary arrest[19][20][21]. On October 14, 2023, Burton was arrested by British police officers.[22][23][24]
