Stevan S. Kalember (Serbian Cyrillic: Стеван С. Калембер; Bjelopolje, Korenica, Austria-Hungary, 1862 - Belgrade, Serbia, Yugoslavia, 1946) was a merchant, member of parliament, philanthropist and member of Privrednik.[1]

Stevan Kalember first worked as a sales assistant in Gospić and Zagreb. He opened a shop in Korenica in 1887. He was a member of the Serbian National-Church Assembly in Sremski Karlovci, where he advocated church-municipal autonomy. As a supporter of national unity, he belonged to the Croatian-Serbian coalition. In the treason trial, 1908–1909, he spent a year and two months in pre-trial detention, and was then sentenced to six years in prison. He was elected a representative in the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia|Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. He is one of the founders of Srpska banka and a member of its closest management. He held the position of President of the Serbian Orthodox Church Municipality in Zagreb and Korenica, Vice President of the Zagreb Diocesan Council and a member of the Patriarchal Council, as well as the President of the Serbian Savings Bank in Korenica. He has been decorated several times. Thanks to him, over 300 poor students from the Korenica municipality were sent to "Privrednik" to train for crafts and trade.[2]
