Naman Mathur, popularly known as Soul Mortal, is an Indian Gamer and YouTuber who has gained widespread recognition for his exceptional skills in playing the mobile game PUBG Mobile. He won Hindustan Times City 30Under30 Award in the Gaming category.[2]
Career
Soul Mortal began his gaming career in 2018 by playing PUBG Mobile. He created a YouTube channel named Mortal, where he started uploading videos of his gameplay. With time, his gaming skills and content gained a massive following, and he became one of the most popular gamers in India.
In 2019, Soul Mortal and his team Soul won the PUBG Mobile India Series, which was a turning point in his career.[3] Team Soul Won PUBG Mobile Club Open Spring Split India Regional Finals.[4] Following his victory in the PMCO 2019 gaming tournament, Soul Mortal demonstrated his philanthropic spirit by donating the entirety of his prize money to the Indian Army. [5]
In 2020, Soul Mortal started streaming on the platform, Nimo TV, which further increased his popularity. He has also been featured in various online publications such as Times of India, Hindustan Times, and Indian Express.
Apart from PUBG Mobile, Soul Mortal has also played other games such as Call of Duty and Free Fire. He is known for his exceptional gameplay and impressive strategies that have won him many online tournaments. Mortal won the Skyesports Valorant India League 2020 Star Player Award.[6]
Personal Life
Naman Mathur was born on 22 May, 1997. He completed his Bachelor's Degree from University of Mumbai.
