Sostravel is a travel specialty company best known for its passenger assistance services like luggage tracking and flight tracking application.[1] Created by Rudolph Gentile in 2017 that company is headquartered in Gallarate (VA), Italy. The company formerly listed on the Italian AIM market, and now are listed on Euronext Growth Milan.[2][3]

Sostravel application provides information about the main airports all around the world and about the main airlines.

History

Sostravel was founded by Rudolph Gentile in late 2017, as a spin-off of Safe Bag to seize the significant opportunities offered by mobile technology in the Global travel market. Within a few months, the company was listed on the Piazza Affari and AIM Italia segment, becoming one of the first Italian Apps to be listed on the stock exchange.[4][5]

By late 2018, Sostravel was launched in soft launch and also released its online application, which is available on iOS and Android. In 2019, Sostravel acquired FLIO Brand and Assets to further expand its operations.

Sostravel provides a range of bespoke services that include:

Flight Tracker

This service allows the users to have all the information on their flight. The Digital Concierge updates the users in real time on the status of their flight: from boarding to any delays or gate changes.

Airport Info

With this service, the users will be able to consult all useful information about the airport services, such as parking, restaurants and shops amongst other things.

Lost Luggage Concierge

The Lost Luggage Concierge service is a bespoke service that can be purchased on the Sostravel application, where people can upload a picture of their suitcase and enter all the necessary details. After this, if the suitcase of the customer is lost, Customer Support provides real-time assistance in locating the luggage. When opting for this service, the users are entitled to a refund which ranges up to 100 Euros per day in case of delayed delivery of the luggage and up to 4000 Euros in case the luggage is permanently lost. Customer support is available 24/7 in 6 languages.
