Soriano Motori Corp. is the American parent company of the European manufacturing company, Soriano Motori Factory SpA. Soriano Motori Corp was established to bring about a modern edition to the vintage European motorcycle brand founded by Ricardo Soriano-Scholtz in 1919. Founded in 2020, Soriano Motori Corp seeks to create a legacy of invention and modernization. Engineers from the European Union and the USA united in a collaborative effort to recreate and bring back the motorcycles once designed by the same family namesake a century prior.

Soriano Motori is set to debut their latest electric motorcycle in Italy at EICMA in November 2020.[1]

Soriano Motori Corporation currently manufactures their Giaguaro model in Italy, a 100% electric motorcycle with various trims including the Giaguaro V1 R, Giaguaro V1 S and its premium model the Giaguaro V1 GARA. The model name Giaguaro, Italian for jaguar[2], follows the traditional pattern of being named after a big cat. The Soriano Motori logo as well as the styling of the motorcycle's front fascia mimic that of a cat's face. SMC currently produces the Giaguaro at two equipped facilities in Oggiono & Lecco, towns surrounding Lake Como, Italy. [3]

History

Since 1919, the Soriano brand has been associated with the aristocratic lifestyle of mobility and personal freedom. Their extensive history of automobile and motorcycle manufacturing has spanned many countries in Europe but they are most notoriously known among the streets of Spain and France.

Soriano has led innovation in automobile from racing in the French Riviera, to outboard motors on the coast of Catalonia and historically with motorcycles in Madrid. In 2020, Marco A. Soriano IV, the heir of the Soriano legacy built by Ricardo is set to re-establish the American parent company from New York City. Founder of the new division, Marco Soriano, enlisted the brand to offer an expanded range of "leading-edge" and distinctive Electric vehicle Motorcycle models. The new riding experience includes proprietary technology throughout each model, reminiscent of the advancements Soriano has been known for since its early days.

Much like Ricardo Soriano-Scholtz did when he established the Soriano-Pedroso SpA in Paris, 1919 and posteriorly R. Soriano SrL in Madrid, 1939 as the first Spanish Manufacturing Company, Soriano Motori is the first EV Motorcycle manufactured at Lake Como.
