Professional wrestling career
WWE (2022–present)
Ruca was a part of a new batch of recruits signed to the WWE Performance Center in March 2022[4], and had no previous experience with professional wrestling, instead coming from an acrobatics and tumbling background.[5] She made her in-ring debut at a house show on June 24th in Jacksonville, and, a few months later, made her TV debut on the September 27th 2022 episode of NXT 2.0, facing off against Amari Miller, which ended in a victory for Ruca.[6]
On December 10, 2022, Sol gained viral fame for her innovative finisher, a Springboard Backflip Cutter, used in another match against Amari Miller on WWE NXT Level Up.[7] Sol later credited her experience in acrobatic gymnastics as the source of her inspiration for the move.[8]
Personal life
The daughter of Paul and Sandy Hampton, Calyx has one brother, Koda. She majored in Human Physiology at the University of Oregon.[9]
