Born in Nangarhar, Afghanistan on 25th March 1988, Sohail 'Show Star' Ahmad is a professional boxer, with a current official fighting record of 16-1-1.
Arriving in the UK alone aged 12 as a refugee, Sohail stayed at Swattenden Centre in Kent, a venue run by Kent Social Services to support minors with no parents.
Sohail began his amateur boxing career in 2008, with the boxer completing an estimated twelve fights before turning professional in 2015.
In 2021, Sohail launched the breakfast and brunch-focussed restaurant EGGOLAND Eggoland based in Fitzrovia, Central London. Characterised by a Middle Eastern twist, the restaurant serves wholesome and comforting meals featuring eggs.
