Snipitz was founded in 2019. It is best known for its state-of-the-art Content Delivery Interface (CDI). The Snipitz CDI allows users to view all types of sports and entertainment events, concerts, theater productions, and even consumer-driven content from multiple camera angles. While also simultaneously allowing the viewer to switch between the different camera views they want to see at any point in time during an event.[1][2]

For nearly 100 years of media history, broadcasters were in control of what viewers could see during an event. With the Snipitz CDI, control now shifts to the viewers and empowers them to choose what they want to see. Snipitz integrates its innovative viewing experience that intensifies viewers’ engagement with the events they watch. A mobile app turns any wireless mobile device into a Snipitz broadcast center, giving viewers unparalleled ability to Snip and share short form videos with their friends, family, and their followers.[3][4]

It’s enterprise-level software, the Snipitz CDI, can be white labeled, which allows their enterprise customers to utilize the Snipitz UI to increase viewer engagement, retention, create new revenue sources, and gain insight into consumer behavior unlike ever before on their existing native platforms.[5]

History

Snipitz was founded in September 2019 by Denny Darmo. The company is headquartered in Dallas, TX, and Jakarta, Indonesia. The name Snipitz was conceived by Denny Darmo in November 2019 and the mark was filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office in December 2019.[6][7]

The aim behind the creation of Snipitz was to allow the viewers a choice of what to watch, how to engage, and what information to share in order to elevate cross-channel viewer engagement. The intent for the Snipitz platform to ultimately be on a distributed, peer-to-peer blockchain network.[8][9]

In March 2021, Snipitz signed an MoU with Gen2 Technologies.[10] This understanding outlines the beginnings of an agreement whereby the Sniptiz CDI and UI can be utilized by Gen2 Technologies for the Iris Media Network through a whitelabel solution.[11]

Amanda Prochaska, former executive at MGM Resorts International, joined Snipitz as Director of Operations, and Deb Colitas, who brings extensive marketing and entrepreneurial background, joined Snipitz as the Director of Marketing.[12][13]

In May 2021, Founder Denny Darmo was named President.

In May 2021, Kelly M. Ratka, former Partner Relationship and Sponsorship Activation Manager at MGM Resorts International, joined Snipitz as Director of Enterprise Accounts.
