Skender Beck is a Los Angeles based modern rock artist whose debut album ‘STARS ALIGNED’ was released on October 14th, 2020 on iTunes, Spotify and many other digital music platforms. Beck’s music is reminiscent of bands like U2 and Kings of Leon. Skender's debut music video "Gone" was directed by award winning director Ujkan Hysaj.

Life and career

Skender studied theater in Kosovo where he received a Bachelor's Degree, as well as two National Theater Awards for his acting. In 1997, Skender migrated to New York City to continue his education at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, and has remained in the United States since.[1][2]

Skender in 2016, did Albanian voiceovers [3] for War Dogs directed by Todd Philips.

In 2020 he released his first alternative rock album "Stars Aligned" which he wrote and composed. Music Connection magazine praised Skender's album as "...really cool song concepts and an obvious ability to turn them into highly polished work". His song "Gone" was listed as The Best of 2020 on WFIT's Acid Test radio show. Skender's music video "This Is How It Ends" on the official Vevo Channel reached over hundred thousand views. The album was reviewed by A&R Factory [4], , Illustr3usmusic [5], Dukagjini [6], IndiePulse Music [7] etc.

In August 2022, he released his first single [8] he wrote[9] and composed "Stuck In The Sky" [10] which was reviewed by The Other Side Reviews [11]. The song was sound engineered by Chris Wonzer (whose credits include Pink, Stone Temple Pilots, Phil Collins, Sting, R.E.M., Deep Purple)[12]
