Shweta Mehta is an Indian Television personality, fitness model and engineer hailing from Fatehabad, Haryana, Fatehabad district. She is known for being the winner of MTV Roadies Rising, 2017.[1]

Early Life and Education

Mehta was born on 20th January 1993 in Fatehabad district, Haryana to Janak Mehta and Krishna Mehta. Mehta completed her schooling from Daffodils Public School, Fatehabad district and later completed her Bachelors in Technology at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar. Mehta worked in IT field in Bangalore before starting her career in fitness.

Career

Mehta became a runner up at Jerai Women's Physique, 2015 and also the winner of Jerai Women's Physique, 2016.[2] She auditioned for MTV Roadies 3 times before auditioning 4th time and winning MTV Roadies Rising, 2017[1][3]. She made her debut in soap-dramas by appearing as a guest cast as the character of 'Lavina' in Badho Bahu in 2017, which aired on And TV[4] She participated in Netflix's Ultimate Beastmaster (season 2) and represented Team India, but got eliminated in Level 1. She made her debut in Punjabi Music Industry by getting featured in music video of "Chitta Suit", which was sung by Husn Purewal.

She was featured on the cover page of March 2018 edition of Fitmag magazine[5][6] and on the cover page of December 2017 edition of Krunch Today magazine.[6]

She was part of hosts of Ranvijay's HomeGames 2020.[7]

Accident

Mehta suffered a neck and spine injury at a trampoline park in Surat in September, 2019 and had seven fractures in neck and serious damage in three spine bones.[8] She was on bedrest for 5 months with a neck brace.[9]

She later introduced a lifestyle brand called 'Hope' and designed a Phoenix (mythology) themed pendant.
