Shubhankar Mishra (born April 10, 1993) is an Indian TV news anchor, journalist, and social media influencer. He has served stints at India News, Zee Media, TV9 Network, and Aaj Tak. Mishra runs three YouTube channels: Shubhankar Mishra, NewsBook, and CricketBook. He has amassed over 15 million followers across various digital media platforms.

Early life and education

Mishra was born on April 10, 1993, in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, to his parents, Ranveer and Janhvi Mishra. He grew up in Lucknow and New Delhi. He completed his schooling from St. Xaviers School. Mishra, at his father's request, pursued a bachelor's in mechanical engineering from Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), Greater Noida. He further pursued a B.A. in journalism and mass communication from Delhi University.

Career

News Anchor Mishra started his career as a news anchor with India News in 2015. He worked as a news anchor for various regional news channels, including India News Uttar Pradesh, India News Haryana, India News Uttarakhand, and India News Rajasthan.

In November 2017, Mishra joined Zee Media.

In December 2018, Mishra joined TV9 Network as a news anchor for TV9 Bharatvarsh.

In February 2022, Mishra joined the India Today Group to serve as a news anchor for Aaj Tak. His engaging presentation style and in-depth reporting have earned him recognition. He has gained a reputation for covering significant events and issues with a critical perspective. His career has included important assignments, notably reporting from Tiger Hills during the Kargil War. In July 2023, Mishra left Aaj Tak.

Social Media Influencer

Mishra runs three YouTube channels, a self-titled YouTube channel, NewsBook, and CricketBook, covering a diverse array of content, including cricket, politics, entertainment, and current affairs. His channel features podcast shows in which he interviews notable personalities and engages in conversations.
