Shiharan Rashid (Bengali: শিহরন রশীদ, Born: 3 February 1979) is the Editor and Publisher of The Daily Tribunal[1][2][3], the most popular English language daily in Bangladesh[4]. He is also the editor and publisher of Dainik Adhikaran[5][6]
Early and family life
Shiharan (Known as Shiharan Rashid) was born on 3 February 1979 at Mirpur[7][8], Dhaka, Bangladesh in an aristocratic muslim family. His father's name is Md. Abdur Rashid Mia who was also a novelist and journalist. His mother's name is Shahida Rashid who was a familiar social worker. Shiharan grew up in a comfortable environment. Later he completed his education from University of Dhaka. He began his career as a journalist in 1997.
Career
Reporter
Shiharan began his career in journalism as a Staff Reporter with Daily Rup Bani published from Dhaka, Bangladesh. He was a crime reporter. He later worked at Weekly Chaltipatra and The Daily Inqilab.
Dainik Janakantha
In the very beginning of his career in 1999 Shiharan joined as a Metropolitan reporter in Dainik Janakantha, the most popular newspaper of Bangladesh. Having obtained the university degree, he soon became a staff reporter at Janakantha, where he worked as its Senior Reporter for 10 years. He covered most important assignments, investigative reports and interviews, the mainstream and reported on the upper echelon of Bangladesh aristocratic and political circles.
Pakkhik Adhikaran
Shiharan started his carrier as a reporter and after completing a successful working life in Dainik Janakantha he decided to run his family newspaper Pakkhik Adhikaran on market, which was founded by his father and mother. With the passion of journalism he becomes very much professional in this sector. Shiharan began his career as Editor with Pakkhik Adhikaran.
The Daily Tribunal
Inspired by a few bureaucrats and diplomats Shiharan decided to establish a daily national English newspaper named The Daily Tribunal. He took the responsibility of Editor of this English Daily.

After success of The Daily Tribunal, Shiharan decided to transform Pakkhik Adhikaran into a daily newspaper. In 2019 Govt. declared Adhikaran as a daily national printed newspaper. From the beginning Dainik Adhikaran is commended by its readers for covering exclusive news.
