Sheryene N. Tejeda is an American scientist and biomedical doctor specializing in women's and men's health, particularly the reproductive systems.[1] She is known for publishing research on subjects such as endometriosis and ophthalmic disorders. She is also known for The Tejeda Equation that scientifically describes the mechanism of action for how Endometriosis develops. Tejeda's work has been cited by numerous publications.
Education
Tejeda earned her MD and PhD in biomedical science from Einstein Medical School. She also received several Masters degrees, one in psychology from New College of California, one in health science and another in forensic science from Saint Francis University.
Professional Career
Tejeda was a forensic therapist in the earlier part of her career. She specialized in co-occurring disorders with the criminally insane population in the criminal justice system. She later started work in clinical research for small and larger pharmaceutical companies and private research firms. After becoming a doctor, in 2018 Tejeda founded Medicinal Technologies, a biomedical company.[2] Tejeda Is also the founder of the nonprofit organization, The Tejeda Foundation, which has contributed to provisions for low-cost health care, hunger and homelessness in Nigeria & America.[3]
In 2022, Tejeda developed the Endogen treatment protocol in which Tejeda's proposed mechanism of action for the development of Endometriosis (∑(σX GnRH ⇒ JEG3f )+ (σα ^βER ) ∴ NR3A1 ≥ 300-437pg/ml e (τ +30dy)∆ δEEC) involves the primary deviation in the GnRH gene, which is responsible for the production of gonadotropin-releasing hormone, a significant regulator of the female reproductive system.[4] This groundbreaking protocol aims to revolutionize the lives of countless individuals worldwide. With over 250 million women diagnosed with Endometriosis, and millions more undiagnosed, the urgency for a solution has never been clearer. Traditionally, treatment options like hormonal suppression, surgery, and pain medications only offer temporary relief. But now, the innovative three-part protocol, Endogen, presents a holistic approach aimed at tackling the root cause of the condition, offering hope for long-term relief and healing.[4][5]
In March 2024, Tejeda introduced Presigen, a medication developed by Medicinal Technologies and backed by extensive clinical research, which offers promising prospects for conditions such as glaucoma, photophobia, and elevated eye pressure.[6] In April 2024, an article published in Hudson Weekly chronicled that Medicinal Technologies has unveiled a pioneering protocol developed by Dr. Tejeda designed to support women grappling with infertility due to factors such as advanced maternal age, hormonal imbalances, endometriosis, and tubal or uterine damage. This innovative initiative targets the enhancement of egg quality, the promotion of natural ovulation, and the improvement of uterine health.[2][7][4]
Awards and recognition
Dr. Tejeda has been recognized by Marquis Who's Who in America in 2024 as a leader in science and medicine. She belongs to Eastern Star, Association for Women in Medicine, Biomedical Engineering Society, Massachusetts Society for Medical Research and the National Medical Association. Dr Tejeda was also featured as a Top Global Doctor in 2022, 2023 and 2024 as a result of her scientific contributions to endometriosis.[8][9]
