Shergaon is a small village of 4360 hectares in Abu Road Tehsil in Sirohi district, known as Rajasthani hill station of Mount Abu in Aravalli range in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shergaon depends on MOUNT ABU, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shergaon is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Shergaon's pin code is 307501[4], and village code is 02367900. The area of Shergaon is segregated as 4.75 hectares irrigated area, 6.25 hectares unirrigated, the 2.9 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 87.24 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of MOUNT ABU and Sirohi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
