Shaquita Love (born December 9, 1985) is an American entrepreneur, nurse, model, actress, and wellness advocate. She is the founder of Love RX Organics, a health and wellness company, and serves as the wellness advisor for Ivan Ray.[1] Love is dedicated to promoting health and wellness through CBD products, actively partners with local fitness centers, and participates in music and fashion events to spread awareness.[2]
As an established actress, Love is known to have appeared in several films, such as Chicago/MED, Widows, I Am the CHI, Chicago Fire, Empire, and Excused, among others. She has been featured in several news and media publications, including USA Today, WGN News, and The Chicago Times.[3]
Early life and education
Love was born on December 9, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois, as the middle child of Tyrone and Pamela Love. Love graduated with a degree in arts, entertainment, and media management from Columbia College Chicago. She also holds a nursing degree from Verve College.
Career
Love began her career in 2011 as a marketing manager at SFG Promotions. In 2015, she joined Barbizon Modeling and Entertainment as an instructor.
After obtaining her nursing degree, Love started working as a licensed nurse practitioner at Symphony Lincoln Park LLC. She currently serves as a nurse at Nurse Staffing, a position she assumed in February 2022.
Love is the founder of Love RX Organics, a successful health and wellness company that provides premium hemp-derived CBD products to improve sleep, stress management, and overall health.[4] As a nurse and wellness advocate, Love believes in the potential benefits of CBD products for individuals. Love actively promotes her company's products and participates in various events to spread awareness about the benefits of CBD products. She also serves as the wellness advisor for Ivan Ray.[5]
In addition to her entrepreneurship, Love is an established actress who has worked on several film projects, including Chicago/MED, Widows, I Am The CHI, Chicago Fire, Empire, Easy, Chicago P.D., and Excused.
Love attended the Urbn Leaf grand opening during Grammy Weekend in West Hollywood to network and build relationships in the wellness industry. In addition, she sponsored Love Notes by Taquita Love, a podcast hosted by a nurse and comedian, featuring comedians discussing medical mishaps.
