Shahed Khan (born 1995) is an American technology executive and co-founder of Loom.[1], a video communication software company. Khan founded Loom in 2015 with Joe Thomas and Vinay Hiremath, the three met and became friends before getting into business together.
In 2017, Khan received a Thiel Fellowship[2]—a $100,000 grant conditioned on him focusing full-time on the company and not resuming school. Khan lived in San Mateo with Thomas and Hiremath, where the three worked on the business in an apartment, before releasing the first version of the product a year later on Product Hunt[3].
In 2018, Khan was named to the Forbes 30 under 30[4] list.
In 2023, it was announced that Atlassian had completed its acquisition of Loom, Inc. for $975 Million[5]
