Seo Woo-bin (born October 16, 2000), also known by the mononym Woobin, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and record producer under Starship Entertainment. He is currently a member of South Korean boy band Cravity.[1]
Career
2020–present: Debut with Cravity and career beginnings
In January 2020, Woobin was first introduced as a trainee from the pre-debut team called "StarshipZ" of Starship Entertainment through social media.[2][3]
In March 2020, Starship began unveiling the new nine-member boy group that the agency would debut, revealing the group's name to be "Cravity". Woobin was expected to be a part of this group alongside label mates Kang Min-hee and Song Hyeong-jun.[4] In the same month, Starship launched social media accounts for their new boy group which Woobin has been confirmed to be a member of. They also released an image film for the logo.[5]
In April 2023, Woobin made his first personal schedule since debut through mystery music and song competition King of Mask Singer.[6] In the same month, he appeared on JTBC's 'Begin Again Open Mic', performing 'That's Hilarious' by Charlie Puth while also performing duet songs with South-Korean singers Jang Hye-jin and Kim Yong-jun (singer)|Kim Yong-jun.[7] In the latter part of the month, Woobin was reportedly working on his first OST single for the upcoming web drama "Romance by Romance". The song is expected to be announced and released in May 2023.[8]
