Semiwestern (formerly known as The Vliets) is an American rock band from Dallas, TX formed in 2011.[1][2] The band consists of Ty Bohrnstedt (vocals, guitar, keyboards, drums), Daniel Gonzalez (bass, keyboards, drums) and Chris Semmelbeck (drums).[3]
They released their self titled debut album semiwestern on September 13th, 2023 on Spirit Goth Records.[4][5][3]
On October 11th, 2023 they were announced as Official Artists performing at the 2024 SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX.[6][7][8][9][10][11]
