Selwada is a small village of 1188 hectares in Reodar Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Selwada depends on SIROHI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 192.29% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Selwada is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Selwada's pin code is 307026[4], and village code is 02379200. The area of Selwada is segregated as 322.9 hectares irrigated area, 489.09 hectares unirrigated, the 49.03 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 326.54 hectare area not available for cultivation.
