Goodman started work as a real estate developer in 2016 at Goodman Realty Group.[3] According to the company website, Goodman is currently a vice president at Goodman Realty Group.[4] Goodman is leading a few notable projects in the Albuquerque community. He annouced, in June 2020. a 199 multifamily project at Winrock Town Center.[5] This project made regional news and was featured in REBusiness, by France Media Inc.[6] In July of 2021, Goodman reported on this project again saying the groundbreaking was slated for February of 2022 and that the total unit count had grown to 207 units.

Goodman also announced in July 2020, Albuquerque's first modern high-rise, a 10 story condo tower located in the city's Uptown District.[7] Goodman is developing a mixed-use center on Albuquerque's westside along 98th. The first tenant annouced is Popeyes Chicken who will purchase a pad. Goodman, with combination of Dion's Pizza, announced the sale of the former It'z Pizza space to Dion's Pizza, a large local pizza chain in New Mexico. Dion's will use this new building as their commissary and support buildings. Goodman's latest development is a 400,000 square foot industrial facility located in Albuquerque's Westside. The project aims to bring regional and national distribution companies to the market.[8] On June 23, 2021, Goodman made an announcement that he will be reconverting the old Garduno's space at Winrock Town Center into a food hall. He believes food halls combine the social and entertainment aspect and will be successful in that location.

In March of 2021, Goodman wrote an op-ed for The Albuquerque Journal regarding the impacts of COVID on commercial real estate. [9] He felt the pandemic hit the real estate sector the hardest and reinvented the way consumers will work, shop, and travel for many decades. He believes the virus was a disrupter and pushed the sector to innovate in ways to allow social distancing and ease such as mobile ordering and delivery, remote working via Zoom, and double stacked drive-thru for restaurant pickups.

In July 2020, Goodman was recognized by the Business First journal as one of three "New Mexicans to Know" for his work in the real estate community.[10] Outside of work, Goodman also ran for political office. He received five percent of the vote for State Representative for District 17 according to the Secretary of State's website.[11] He ran as a Libertarian and held an interview with Albuquerque's Journal Q&A.[12]

Venture Capital

Goodman recently announced his new business idea as New Mexico's youngest venture capitalist.[13] According to Goodman's company website, GOS Capital, he is looking at solely investing in New Mexican startups to help create economic development by funding companies to hire and grow.[14]
