Scott Bartnick (born 10 October 1990, Orlando, Florida) is an American engineer, author, consultant, publicist, and serial entrepreneur.[1] He has co-founded Otter PR, a public-relations company that specializes in brand management, creating media outreach programs, developing media strategy, social verification, and other marketing services.[2] Scott Bartnick’s vision of providing online branding services to customers has transformed Otter PR to secure a strong position and works with a number of high profile clientele.[3] Known to build close professional relationships with media outlets like The New York Times, Yahoo, USA Today, and others, his company has become a leading marketing agency in the country to maintain or protect their brand image.[4]

Bartnick has received several awards and accolades in his diversified career of more than a decade.[5] He has worked with corporations to diversify their sales channels, create brand awareness programs, and help them gain search visibility to get more traction.[6] Associated with more than 300 companies and brands, Bartnick continues his exemplary work in eCommerce and PR.[7][8]

Early life and education

Scott Bartnick was born in Orlando, Florida. In his childhood, he suffered from dyslexia, but he never let this disability control his life with determination and courage. Bartnick graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering with a specialization in sales engineering.

Career

Scott Bartnick attained strong professional leadership and expertise in the industry throughout his career, which began in May 2013, working for Stiles Corporation for three months as a Virtual Design and Construction Intern. After Stiles, he worked at Eaton in different roles from May 2015 to July 2018, including an internship that led to a top position as an Operations Excellence Manager, Quality Supervisor, and Sales Engineer during his time in Eaton's Leadership Development Program.

In Jan 2017, Bartnick started his entrepreneurial career and founded The Five Day Startup, an eCommerce consulting company.[12] The company offers consultancy services to entrepreneurs and online sellers in setting up their online businesses on third-party eCommerce platforms to market their brands by managing full supply chain and analytics.[13]

In Jan 2020, Bartnick joined as a co-founder in Otter PR with Jay Feldman.[14] He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of the company and created a team of experts comprising entrepreneurs, media strategists, digital marketers, and brand managers.[15][16]
