Santa Uno Uno Santa born August 11, 1998 is a Japanese singer, and dancer, currently based in China. He is best known for placing second in the Chinese survival program Produce Camp 2021 and becoming a member of the Chinese-multinational boy group Into1. He is also a member of the Japanese-Chinese boy group WARPs Up. Santa is a world-champion street dancer, backup dancer and choreographer, having won various competitions. On November 22, 2022 he made his solo debut with the single I'm from....
Personal Life
Santa Uno was born on August 11, 1998 in Aichi Prefecture|Aichi, Japan. His parents own a dance studio in Japan named "Dance Studio House", and his distant cousin is the famous Japanese actor, Shun Oguri. Before becoming an Idol, Santa was a backup dancer. One of his most notable performances was for Lee Tae-min|Lee Taemin's Music Video, "FAMOUS".
Career
2011-present: WARPS UP, Produce Camp 2021, INTO1 and Solo debut
Since a young age, Santa has won many awards in Dance competitions becoming a Dancing World champion. Because of this, he has created choreographies and has been a back-up dancer. One of his notable works is a back-up dancer for Lee Taemin|Lee Taemin's Famous (Taemin EP)|Famous music video and tour.
On December 17 2019, Santa debuted in the Japanese-Chinese boy group WARPS UP. They debuted with the single Rock Tonight.
In 2021, Santa became a contestant on the Chinese reality survival program Produce Camp 2021, he ranked 2nd place in the final episode, becoming a member of the boy group Into1. [1] Due to his activities in Into1 he took a hiatus from WARPS UP. Later, he participated in the Chinese program The Masked Dancer 2 and made it to the final.
In April 2022, he became a Dance mentor for the Dance reality competition Great Dance Crew. [2]
On November 25, 2022 he made his solo debut with the single 'I'm from...' [3]
Endorsements
Alongside Santa's activities with Into1, he has become a brand ambassador and spokesperson for various brands such as Moncler. He has also featured on the cover of many magazines such as GQ, Nylon (magazine)|Nylon, OK! and more. [4][5] [6]
