Samuel Robert Clemens is an American author and interviewer primarily known for his biographies of personalities in Hollywood, as well as various articles and interviews with actresses of the 1950s and 1960s.
Biography
After earning a Bachelor of Arts at the University of California, Davis, Clemens was hired as an editor at Glamour Girls of the Silver Screen.[1] He published Pat: A Biography of Hollywood's Blonde Starlet in 2022, which told the story of actress and model Pat Sheehan.[2][3] He is a columnist for various film-themed magazines including Classic Images, Western Clippings, The Galileo Observer, and Films of the Golden Age where he profiles various actresses who were active in the 1950s and 1960s. He has interviewed actresses like Beverly Adams, Danica D'Hondt, Myrna Hansen, Jackie Loughery, and Vikki Dougan.[4][5]
On July 10, 2022, Clemens did an extensive interview with Bonnie Jean Wilbur of Link: The Faces of Evil and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon where she discussed her role as Zelda.[6][7] He did another interview days later with Stephen Radosh, who produced Hotel Mario.[8]
