Sam Allcock (born March 20, 1978) is a British entrepreneur, digital marketer, SEO expert, and columnist. He is the founder of PR Fire, a public relations and marketing services company assisting companies and individuals in gaining traction and visibility by strategically disseminating news about their products, companies, brands, or services through placements in top-tier industry publications like BuzzFeed, Metro, The Huffington Post, and The Telegraph.[1]

Allcock also owns several news media websites, including News Anyway, ABC Money, Business Cheshire, and Law News.[2] Allcock regularly contributes articles for notable platforms such as Huffington Post, Hubspot, The London Economic, Business Manchester, and PR News.[3]

With over two decades of experience, Allcock is known for his work with some of the world's leading brands, including Red Bull, Nokia, Liverpool FC, Arsenal FC, Ladbrokes, and Kelkoo, among others.[4]

Early life and education

Allcock was born and raised in Stockport, England. He graduated from Parrs Wood High School.

Career

In the early 2000s, Allcock initiated his digital marketing career, specializing in domain name investment and website development. His expertise in SEO evolved during this period, attracting clients like Laptops Direct and Memory Bits, who sought his guidance to enhance their SEO strategies.[5]

In 2007, Allcock established Custard, an independent SEO agency serving small and medium-sized e-commerce businesses.[6] Within two years, the agency achieved a million-pound turnover and expanded its workforce to over 50 staff, offering web development, design, and content marketing services. Custard served national and international clients across various sectors, including gaming, insurance, finance, sports, travel, and entertainment. In 2018, Allcock successfully divested the business.[7]

In 2008, he founded PR Fire, a press release distribution and content marketing agency, providing businesses with a straightforward pay-as-you-go model to attain widespread media coverage for their news. Headquartered in Hale, Cheshire, the platform offers press release distribution, content creation, and marketing services. The company has facilitated media coverage for over 10,000 businesses in the BBC, Daily Mail, and New York Times.[8]

In addition to PR Fire, Allcock also owns and manages Z News Service, a news publishing website.[9] Z News Service is a business news syndication website owned by PR Fire, providing accurate and unbiased business, finance, entertainment, and technology news and insights from around the world.[10]

Beyond his core ventures, Allcock is a domain investment consultant and a board member at a regional news agency.[11] He regularly contributes articles to the Huffington Post, The London Economic, Business Manchester, and HubSpot, sharing his knowledge, experience, and opinion on various topics.
