Salum Jobe (born 25 November 1990, London, UK) better known as Sal Jobe is a British actor, model, entrepreneur, professional sports agent, and television personality.[1][2] Jobe has been named as a rising star actor by Essex-TV and played significant roles in movies Lilting, AB Negative, Clothes & Blow, Valla Desam, The London Firm and Dead Destination.[3][4]
At age of 15, Jobe became Walthamstow Forest borough champion and has set the fastest time and record for 200m of 21.40 seconds. He has also worked in Katy B’s music video with Olympic boxing champion Nicola Adams, called Mosca and Kodaline’s All My Friends music video.[5]
Jobe has founded Next Level Consultants, an agency that offers full service management and advisory services to professional athletes.[6] He is considered responsible for bringing Jarrell big baby Miller to the UK to be managed by Wasserman Media Group in 2018.[7] In 2021, Jobe released his first single, Denda.
In a short span of time, as an agent Jobe has made a name for himself[8] and has brokered fights and transfer deals for several football players, boxers and sports person including Peter Milas, Big Baby Miller, Ashton Sylve, and several others.[9][10]
Early life and education
Sal Jobe was born on 25 November 1990 in London, UK to Baboucarr Jobe and Awa Jobe. He completed his education from Chingford Foundation school. He was inspired by David Beckham, an English footballer known to complete his education and started his football career in the same school. Jobe played football with friends including Dwight Gayle (Newcastle United, FC) and Harry Kane-Tottenham Hotspur.
Career
Sal Jobe began his career playing football for numerous conference clubs, including Luton town FC. In 2012, He diverted his career to acting and played roles in movies, short videos, and various other videos. In 2015, he began pursuing his sports agent career.[11][12]
In 2018, he brought Jarrell big baby Miller to the UK, he was managed by Wasserman Media Group. Because of this Miller then went on to have the opportunity to fight Anthony Joshua for the IBF WBA and WBO heavyweight titles but failed to do so as he failed to be approved for a license by the New York boxing commission because he failed the drugs test.
