Sahibzada Sultan Ahmed Ali a Pakistani scholar, social activist and spiritual leader.[1]. He is from the tenth line among the 17th century Sufi of the sub-continent Sultan-ul-Arifeen Sultan Bahu[2][3]. He is Chairman of the research-based think-tank MUSLIM Institute[4] and Chairman Advisory Board of MUSLIM PERSPECTIVES Journal[5]. He is Secretary General of spiritual movement Islahee Jamaat & Aalmi Tanzeem ul Arifeen[6], Chief Editor of monthly magazine Mirrat-ul-Arifeen International[7]. He has delivered lectures to many national and international think-tanks, universities, academic and intellectual institutions of Pakistan. The international think-tank Institute of Peace and Development (INSPAD) has ranked him in the list of Top Ten Most Influential Muslims of the year 2020[8][9]

Sultan Ahmed Ali is younger brother of Sahibzada Sultan Muhammad Ali.[10][11].

Research and Academic Work

Sultan Ahmed Ali is Chairman of research-based think-tank MUSLIM Institute[12][13][14]. He has organized a large number of events including international conferences[15][16][17][18][19], seminars[20][21], round table discussions[22][23][24][25][26], awareness walks[27][28], cultural events[29], book launching ceremonies[30] and special lectures[31][32]. Sultan Ahmed Ali engages with policy makers, scholars and foreign missions in Pakistan[33].

On April 2019, Sultan Ahmed Ali organized a solidarity event in the central city of Jhang to make a human image of New Zealand‘s Al Noor mosque in Christchurch city[34][35].

Sahibzada Sultan Ahmed Ali said,

"Such peaceful and huge expressions has proven the narrative of Muslims maintaining their peaceful society and cooperation among civilizations despite the rise of extreme tendencies in different parts of the world."[36]

He organized another event at Jhang on April 13, 2022, to pay tribute to the UN’s efforts on curbing Islamophobia.[37][38]

Sultan Ahmed Ali said,

“We, the people of Pakistan, thank the United Nations to recognize the rising trend of Islamophobia and declaring March 15 as the International Day to Combat Islamophobia and hate against Islam.”[39][40]

Sultan Ahmed Ali is Chairman of the advisory board of quarterly journal Muslim Perspectives[41]

Sultan Ahmed Ali is also Chairman of online debate form, The Muslim Debate[42] and organizes debates on the contemporary issues like multiculturalism[43], freedom of expression[44], refugees crisis[45], etc.

He has delivered number of special lectures in many academic Institutions[69][70][71][72][73][74][75] and bar councils and associations[76] in different cities of Pakistan.

He is also Chairman of Al-Arifeen Publications which has published number of books [47][77][78]. Sultan Ahmed Ali is also Chief Editor of monthly magazine Mirrat-ul-Arifeen International[79].

Spiritual and Awareness Works

Sultan Ahmed Ali is Secretary General of spiritual movement Islahee Jamaat & Aalmi Tanzeem ul Arifeen[80][81][82][83][84]. He has coordinated many Seminars on Struggle for Unity of Ummah[85][86] in different cities of Pakistan.

Other Aspects

He is Vice President of Milli Yakjehti Council [87][88]. He is also member General Council of Nazria Pakistan Trust[89][90]

He participated in the meeting of National Rahmatul-lil-Alameen Authority chaired by Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan[91]
