History
Sofwave was founded in 2015 with the aim to revolutionize the aesthetic medical industry by Dr. Shimon Eckhouse and Ariel Sverdlik. Sverdlik is a medical researcher and developer with over two decades of experience in offering high-intensity ultrasound technology for a wide range of medical and aesthetic applications, whereas Dr. Eckhouse is a leading entrepreneur and investor known for his involvement in the medical technology industry, with investments in over 20 companies.[5]
Sofwave follows a minimally invasive procedure that is unique for every patient by incorporating the proprietary Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam SUPERB™ technology. Sofwave offers a proprietary FDA-approved Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam SUPERB™ technology that is non invasive, reasonable, and applicable for all s kin types. This treatment is specifically made for skin collagen remodeling and wrinkle reduction.[8]
This treatment offered by Sofwave lasts for 30-45 Minutes for a full face treatment with no reported post-procedure pain or special post-procedure care requirement. It is also integrated with SofCool™ that protects the outer skin layer and enables treatment ensuring no damage to the underlying structures beneath the dermis.[9]
