Run GenZ is an American nonprofit dedicated to conservative candidate recruitment and mentorship for Generation Z.[1][2][3] The organization highlights it's peer-to-peer mentorship program from their coalition of young elected officials, the Rising Stars Club.[4][5] Co-founded in 2020 by Joe Mitchell, Amber Mariano, Josie Tomkow, Joe Alexander, and Mason Morgan,[6][7] Run GenZ's mission is to "recruit, empower and mentor young conservatives to run" for state and local office.[8][9] Advisory board members include Terry Branstad, John Sununu, Rick Perry, Mary Fallin, and Bill Owens.[10][11]

The organization recruits from conferences and chapters of College Republicans, Turning Point USA, Young Republicans, and others.[12] In 2021, Run GenZ partnered with Snapchat to encourage young conservatives to run for office.[13][14] In 2022, Run GenZ had over 100 candidates recruited.[15]

In January 2024, Run GenZ announced a strategic partnership with the 501(c)(4) arm of the American Legislative Exchange Council, ALEC Action.[16] At their annual conference in January 2024, Run GenZ hosted former President Donald Trump, Nikki Haley, and Chris Sununu.[17][18][19][20]
