Rubyroid Labs is a software development company established in 2013 by Valentine Zavadskiy and Yury Koleda.[1][2] The company is headquartered in Minsk, Belarus, and is known for offering an array of IT services like web development, CRM development, custom software development, UX/UI design, and mobile app development.[3]

Rubyroid Labs specializes in building Ruby on Rails software and, since its inception, has worked for several prolific firms like Volvo, Toyota, Gazprom, Mastercard, and others. It has gained recognition for developing specialized software for both early-stage companies and large businesses. Rubyroid Labs has partnered with over 30 startups funded by Seedcamp, Capital Innovators, Y Combinator, accelerators.[4]

Rubyroid Labs, for four consecutive years, has been in the top three Ruby on Rails companies, offering its services for a diverse range of industries including, Real Estate, Drones, Lifestyle, Travel, Ecommerce, Marketing, Automotive, Fintech, and Healthcare.

History

Rubyroid Labs was founded in 2013 when Valentine Zavadskiy and Yury Koleda, two highly experienced Ruby On Rails developers, became acquainted and decided to leverage their subject matter expertise to start Rubyroid Labs. Within two years of its inception, Rubyroid Labs expanded its team, becoming a home to over 20 developers and, by 2018, over 40 developers.[5]

Rubyroid Labs also publishes e-books about MVP development, outsourcing, and project documentation along with hosting educational events. The company also organizes offline RoR courses annually in collaboration with the University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, which are available for free on its YouTube channel.

In 2020 Rubyroid Labs with the Hexlet platform launched an online Ruby on Rails course. In the same year, Rubyroid Labs was also partially bought by Intexsoft.

Rubyroid also runs a teaching program and a weekly podcast focusing on technology and IT which is available on Soundcloud, iTunes, and YouTube. This podcast is run by the present-day CEO of the company - Valentine Zavadskiy. As of 2021, Rubyroid has run over 23 successful Ruby on Rails educational events.
