Ruben van Schalm.[1] [2] (born 12 May 1988) is a Dutch photographer, creative director, and author. His work, particularly his black-and-white photographs of the human male form and its close photographic relation to the natural world, has been recognized and exhibited internationally. His publication, Paradise, is included in the Rijksmuseum Research Library in Amsterdam.[3] He is also listed as a acknowledge photographer by the RKD - Nederlands Instituut voor Kunstgeschiedenis (Dutch Institute for Art History).[4]

Early Life and Career

Van Schalm was born in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and grew up in Amsterdam before moving to Tel Aviv. He began his career in photography in 2012. His work, particularly his black-and-white photographs of the human male form and its close photographic relation to the natural world, has been recognized and exhibited internationally. His publication, Paradise, is included in the Rijksmuseum Research Library in Amsterdam.[5]
