Robert Kayanja Jr. (born August 11, 1995) is a Ugandan pastor and motivational speaker. He is the chief creative of the Miracle Centre Cathedral, a megachurch in Kampala. Kayanja Jr. is also responsible for overseeing and undertaking the youth activities at the church.[1][2][3]

Early life and education

Kayanja jr. was born on August 11, 1995, in London, England, the eldest son of famous pastor Robert Kayanja and his wife, Jessica Kayanja. His father, Robert Kayanja, is the founder of the Miracle Centre Cathedral, Kampala, and his mother, Jessica Kayanja, is the founder of Girl Power Ministries.[4] Kayanja Jr. grew up in the United States while visiting Uganda with his parents occasionally. He completed his primary education at Kampala International School, later studied at Oral Roberts University and Miracle Bible College, and finally graduated from Life Christian University.[5][6][7]

Career

In 2009, when Kayanja Jr. was in high school, he began teaching Gospel and served for seven years at a church in the United States before getting the opportunity to speak as a preacher.[8]

In 2019, on his father’s instruction, Kayanja Jr. relocated back to Uganda and began serving as the chief creative at Miracle Centre Cathedral along with his parents.[9] Over the years, Kayanja Jr. has emerged as a pivotal figure leading the development and expansion of the Robert Kayanja Ministries. He has been particularly contributing towards establishing and enhancing the ministry's online presence through social media and online streaming. He is driven by a passion for perfection, consistent effort, and self-control. Kayanja Jr. aims to inspire the young generations to lead lives full of faith, generosity, and positive impact through his work as a motivational speaker. His overarching goal is to impart an understanding of the love that Jesus has for the future generation in an imaginative and contemporary way.[10]

Kayanja Jr. also hosts a podcast named “The In House Podcast,” through which he interviews celebrities, philanthropists, founders, and other notable personalities to communicate with others and share experiences, viewpoint, and opinions, as well as possibly discover common ground.[11]

Personal life

Kayanja Jr. is the eldest son of pastor Robert and Jessica Kayanja. He has younger twin sisters, Kirstein and Kristiana Kayanja. Kayanja Jr. is engaged to his Latvian-American girlfriend, Marlena Gailis, and the duo will get married in 2023.[12]
