Rinkal Sharma is an Indian author, poet, social activist and a journalist. She has written many books in the field of language & its legacy, Literatures & kid’s education in the form of short stories and poems. She is also actively involved in the field of theatre, TV & web-series by her skilled writing work. She is the secretary of Human Rights Council of India and International Council of Newspaper and Journalist. She writes articles for Popular Newspaper and Magazines like ‘World Mirror’, ‘Grehlakshmi’, ‘Ganga Mahima’, ‘Swadesh’, ‘Voice of India’, ‘Prabal Praheri’ and ‘Amar Ujala’.[1] She was invited as a guest speaker in Network18 Group ' Bhaiya Ji Kahin'[2] ,Sudarshan News Channel, Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi[3], and in DD Bharathi programme “एकल ‘शब्द-सुर’ सकल” [4].

She was awarded ‘Sahitya Samman’ Padma Shri Ashok Chakradhar and ‘Munshi Premchand Samman’ Padma Shri Surendra Sharma.

Early Life And Education

Rinkal Sharma was born in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. She was born to D.C. Sharma and Meena Sharma on 10 February 1982. Rinkal completed her schooling form Government’s Girl Senior Secondary School. From beginning she had a keen interest in literature that her parents noticed and appreciated. She completed her M.A in Hindi from SMU University and has an advanced Diploma in French Language from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Delhi.[5]

  • Progressing with her commitment towards language, its prosperity, extending its outreach to global audience, Rinkal Sharma has conducted series of interviews of prominent creative leaders like Padma Bhushan Javed Akhtar, Padma Shri Ashok Chakradhar , Padma Shri Surendra Sharma, Rahat Indori, Munawar Rana, Manzar Bhopali, Nawaz Deobandi, Parvez Alam, Mamta Kalia, Gulzar Dehlvi, Dr. Kunwar Bechain, Wasim Barelvi, Asghar Wajahat, Anjum Rahbar, Arun Gemini, Mridula Garg, Manoj Tiwari (MP).

Achievements

  • Rinkal Sharma was awarded ‘Munshi Premchand Samman 2021’ by Padma Shri Surendra Sharma, ‘Sahitya Samman 2021’ by Padma Shri Ashok Chakradhar, ‘Hindi Gaurav Samman’ by Dr. Kunwar Bechain and ‘Hindi Bhashasarathi Samman’ by Dr. Ved Prakash Vaidik, ‘Kavyashri Samman’ by Laxmi Shankar Vajpayee, ‘Rangmanch Seva Samman 2015’ by Manoj Tiwari. Naari Ratn Samman 2021 was presented to her by Baal-Naari Uthan Sansthan, New Delhi, Swami Vivekananda Samman by Bhavishya Foundation and Mahadevi Verma Samman 2020 was awarded to her by Guftugu Sahitya Sansthan.[8]
