Richard Pravut Gertsch (Thai: ริชาร์ต ประวุฒิ แก็ทซ์; born 17 November 1996 (age 23) is a Swiss born, Thai professional footballer who plays as a left midfielder for Thai League, club Uthai Thani FC.
Club career
Richard played many years for FC Wädenswil. In 2018 he signed a new contract with FC Thalwil. He played there for one year[1][2][3] and also participated for the Swiss Cup Qualification[4]. In 2019 he signed another new deal with FC United Zürich[5] and played there for the rest of the season before he joined Ranong United F.C.[6]. In 2020 Richard signed a two-year-contract with Air Force United F.C. Which the club's owner decided to change club name to Uthai Thani FC and relocated it to Uthai Thani. [7][8][9].
Personal life
Richard was raised in Switzerland (Wädenswil) by his single Thai mother, who carries the family name Thangdong. In honor of her, he decided to choose the name Thangdong on the back of his jersey. He wears the number 52 to represent his home town in Switzerland (Wädenswil).
