Early life and education

Garson was born in 1987 in New York City to Marc and Susan. As a young boy, he grew up on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and attended the Horace Mann School in the Bronx.

Garson holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.

Career

While at Cornell, Garson launched Aurous Productions, an event production company which produced a pair of music festivals in Liberty State Park, Jersey City in 2006 called Liberty Jam and FreedomFest. The festivals headlined musical acts Cheap Trick, George Clinton & The Parliament, Patti Smith and Los Lobos. In 2010, Garson founded the Garson Entertainment Group and relocated to Los Angeles, California to develop 350-acres of land in partnership with the Morongo Band of Mission Indians, a Native American tribe with a 40,000-acre reservation in the Coachella Valley.[4]

Garson returned to New York City in 2015 to join the family business, IBrands Global, and rose to the position of CEO in 2019. Garson transformed its Remcoda division to meet the demand for essential supplies in the U.S driven by the COVID-19 Pandemic.[5] Remcoda became the nation’s largest importer of safety products and medical devices through much of the height of the pandemic.[6][7] Remcoda operates a global supply chain platform servicing the medical, food service, health & wellness and government sectors with offices in the US and Asia, 10 US-based domestic warehouses and manufacturing operations in Asia and Latin America. Garson has committed Remcoda to transitioning to 100% sustainable biodegradable and compostable products by 2030.[8]

With his wife, Renata, Garson sits on the Board of Directors of EBY, a women's intimates and apparel brand that microfinances female entrepreneurs living in poverty. By the end of 2022, EBY empowered over 40,000 women and children out of poverty and into business.[9]
