Ravi azad (born 9 August 1991) is an Indian social activist for issues raised by farmers facing injustice in Haryana Dehli and Rajasthan states.He is youth president of Bharatiya Kisan Union in Haryana Pradesh.[1][2] He ran a movement called 2020–2021 Indian farmers' protest in haryana state.[3][4]

Early and personal life

Ravi Azad was born in Bahal village in Bhiwani district, haryana Pradesh on 9 August 1991. He is the son of Ajay Singh Sagwan. Azad graduated with an degree from G.D.C. Memorial College, Loharu.[5]

Activism

Azad became youth state president of Haryana in 2018.[6] He ran the movement called 2020–2021 Indian farmers' protest in Haryana State. Haryana Police have registered 24 cases[7] and 1 case has been registered by Rajasthan Police for agitating against Azad.[8] The chairmen of Zee Media Corporation and ex Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha Subhash Chandra was arrested by Haryana Police for threatening him.[9][10] He is was run movement called 2020–2021 Indian farmers' protest in haryana state.[11][12][13][14]
