Rapid Test & Trace USA is a specialized online retailer of rapid antigen tests for infectious diseases such as COVID-19, Influenza, and Strep A.[1] The company is committed to helping Americans get rapid tests to fight COVID-19, quickly increase daily rapid testing across America, and develop an information hub and reference site for COVID-19 information and prevention.[2]
History
Rapid Test & Trace USA was founded by Sandy White, Adam Singfield, and Harkeet Chadha. It is a member of the RT Medical brand family and holds a Medical Device Establishment License (MDEL) issued by Health Canada.[3][4]
Rapid Test & Trace USA commenced in Canada in late 2020 as volunteer advocacy campaign to raise awareness of the advantages of rapid testing. Initially working as a coalition of academics, public health professionals, and medical specialists, the company petitioned governments to adopt fast antigen tests into their COVID protection measures in collaboration with the health, hospitality, and cultural sectors and concerned individuals.[5]
While COVID continued to expand and governments acted slowly, Rapid Test & Trace USA believed that streamlining the procurement process was the best approach to promote daily rapid testing. The company launched its online store for fast COVID tests in Canada in May 2021 and now offers services in the United States. Early in 2022, Rapid Test & Trace introduced an online observed testing service that provides customers with validated test result certificates.[6]
