Randy Stewart Thompson (born February 11, 1965) is a Canadian-based, globally-focused entrepreneur, angel investor, venture capitalist, and co-owner of the Peterborough United F.C.[1]. Thompson studied at University of British Columbia|The University of British Columbia and the University of Alberta.

Business Interests

Valhalla Private Capital: Thompson is the founder, chairman, and CEO of Valhalla Private Capital, a corporate finance firm that started with a city angel investor group, Valhalla Angels[2].

Old Kent Road Financial: Thompson is a co-founder and managing partner of Old Kent Road Financial, a debt and equity financial provider[3].

Peterborough United Football Club

On March 2, 2018, Thompson and Dr. Jason Neale, purchased 50% ownership of Peterborough United Football Club (PUFC) from Owner and Chairman, Darragh MacAnthony[4]. Thompson and Neale hold their shares through Kelgary Sports and Entertainment. PUFC, known as the POSH, currently competes in the Championship League of the English Football League[1].
