Rachel Sanders is a Nashville-based entrepreneur, founder of a nutrition startup - Rootine that focuses on optimizing health and human performance.[1] Sanders has over a decade’s experience in the HealthTech industry and is known for her roles as a startup advisor, angel investor in the sector.[2]

Prior to establishing Rootine, Sanders ran Patch, a unique practice management solution for concierge physical therapists and clinics.[3] Sanders, throughout her career, has focused on making a positive impact by developing bespoke solutions catering to the healthcare requirements of people and elevating the quality of life.[4][5]

She has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing entrepreneurs in the HealthTech industry - getting featured in multiple media outlets for her steadfast achievements which include Thrive Global,[6] Medium, Nashville Post,[7] BusinessWire, Tech Times, and Forbes.[8][9]

Education

Sanders, in 2008, enrolled in Vanderbilt University, where she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and graduated Cum Laude in 2011. Four years later, She went to Harvard Business School to acquire a master’s degree in Business Administration.

Career

Sanders started her career in 2009 as a private wealth management analyst for YHB Investment Advisors, where she worked for a Summer.[10] In 2010, Sanders worked as a summer associate at Cambridge Associates.[11]

In 2011, Sanders joined Raymond James Financial, where she worked for four years. She began working as an analyst for healthcare investment banking, and after three years, she got promoted to become an associate.[12] In 2013, Sanders also started working as an advisor for GolfMatch, where she served up until the company’s acquisition in 2017.[13] During this time, Sanders also worked for a brief period at naviHealth as a business development specialist.[14]

In 2017, Sanders co-founded Patch Health, a practice management solution for physical therapy clinics. After building this startup for a year, Sanders left to establish Rootine in 2018, where she currently serves as the CEO.[15] Rootine is a health and wellness company known for personalized health solutions designed to optimize cellular nutrition.[16]

Personal life

Sanders recently gave birth to a daughter.
