R. S. Patil is an Indian politician. He was the Member of Parliament of the Lok Sabha from the Bagalkot Lok Sabha constituency, he was elected in 1999 and served till 2004 with the affiliation of the Indian National Congress.[1][2] He stood for 2004 Indian general election from the same constituency but lost to Gaddigoudar Parvatagouda Chandanagouda.[3][4][5]
