Qingqing Han, Ph.D. Qingqing Han, Ph.D. ( Chinese: 韩青青; /tʃiŋtʃiŋ Hæn/; born February 22, 1986) is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of [1]., an AI-powered knowledge platform that creates reliable and accessible data analytics for investors and innovators. Wissee focuses on solving challenging problems in transforming large-scale unstructured textual data, especially Alternative data (finance), into actionable insights. Dr. Han is responsible for the business strategy, management, product development, marketing and sales, and investor relationship of the company.

Early life and education

Han was born and raised in Hangzhou, China, a city known for its innovation and entrepreneurship. Han received her B.A. in Management from Zhejiang University in 2008, one of the top 3 universities in China. Due to her outstanding academic success during her undergraduate years, Han was then granted to matriculate to the Zhejiang University master's program with a full scholarship. In 2009, Han started pursuing her Ph.D. degree at Indiana University Bloomington in the United States, majoring in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with a doctoral minor in International Policy Analysis. She was awarded a full scholarship for her doctoral study in 2009-2013. In 2013-2014, Han was invited to be a visiting scholar at Wageningen University and Research|Wageningen University in the Netherlands. In 2019, Han attended an Executive Program education in Exponential Technology at Singularity University in Mountain View.

Han published several academic articles on topics such as innovation, management, sustainability, and educational policy. She has served as an Editorial Board Member and Reviewer for the Journal of Management and Sustainability since 2016.

Career

Han worked in 7 countries, including the United States, France, Denmark, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, and China. From 2009 to 2017, Han worked in 3 United Nations agencies, including the Headquarters of the United Nations|United Nations HQ in New York, UNESCO in Paris, and the United Nations Office for Project Services in Copenhagen. She managed over 50 global projects ranging from project management, corporate performance, human resources, finance, business development and marketing, partnerships, to education and sustainability.

Before co-founding Wissee, Han was the Head of Partnerships of Brightline Initiative, a strategic initiative management movement formed by  The Boston Consulting Group (BCG),  Project Management Institute  (PMI), Bristol Myers Squibb| Bristol-Myers Squibb,  Saudi Telecom Company, Lee Hecht Harrison,  NetEase, and  Agile software development|Agile Alliance. In March 2018, Han co-founded Wissee, Inc. with her best friend from her doctoral study at Indiana University and a prominent data scientist, Dr. Huina Mao.
