Iranmanesh was born on December 15, 1951 in the city of Tehran. He spent his childhood and adolescence in Khuzestan Province (Abadan, Iran and Khorramshahr) and completed his primary and secondary education in this province.

Iranmanesh started its first cultural activity in the last year of elementary school (1962) and after getting acquainted with Keyhan Bacheha magazine, journalism and writing for this magazine, which continued for about 40 years in the field of culture and art.

Iranmanesh was accepted in Shiraz University in 1970 for a bachelor's degree in food industry and experienced his first presence in the industry with an internship in the agro-industry of Dasht-e Murghab and factories one and one in Shiraz in the summers of 1972 to 1974.

After completing this degree, he was sent to serve in the army, and according to his educational background and experience during his internship, he served as an officer in the form of the Extension and Development Corps to serve rural areas in the village of Kordovan in Garmsar.

Activity in food industry

During its presence in the country, Iranmanesh cooperated with various companies in the field of food industry and packaging. One of his collaborations was with Astan Quds Razavi, who, considering his abilities, considered him worthy of a research scholarship and sent him to Sweden.

He successfully completed a one-year course at Alfa Laval and Tetra Pak, working on processing and quality control and familiarity with modern packaging machines.

After completing his doctorate, he collaborated with Astan Quds Razavi in the canning industry, Nan Razavi. After this successful cooperation, other industrial units became interested in cooperating with him, and the next presence of Iranmanesh in the Foundation for the Underprivileged was in the field of packaging.

The 1980s were a busy period for Iranmanesh. During the imposed war, the country's industries needed developments that the presence of people like Iranmanesh had effect on these developments. In the late 1980s, he was elected as the first chairman of the quality control board of Mazandaran Province.

The country's banking system benefited from his presence in 1990, following the implementation of projects related to agriculture and conversion industries. The management of the tropical agro-industry project with the participation of the Agricultural Bank as well as the establishment of a packaging system, machinery and processing line for tomato sauce at the same time are among these collaborations.

His achievements in food industry

Food Grade is extracted from soybean oil, which was successfully done for the first time in 1990 in the world's vegetable oil factories. Also, for the first time in the country, it extracted essential oil from the skin of sweet lemon with a purity of 97.5%.

According to his research background in the field of pistachio aflatoxin, in 1998, he was appointed as the director of the Iranian Pistachio Research Institute.

Iranmanesh became a member of the Packaging Standards Development Committee on behalf of the General Directorate of Standards and Industrial Research of the country, as an expert in the packaging industry, and participated in the voting of this committee, as the head of the Packaging Standards, in developing issues related to this field.

Other collaborations of Iranmanesh with organizations and executive bodies include attending the Food and Drug Administration as a consultant for disposable polymer containers packaging project, chair of the Packaging Industry Standards Committee and also managing the Iran Baby Food Research Center, developing standards for conversion and packaging industries in the organization. Establishment of academic disciplines

Due to the lack of effective communication between industry and academia in the field of theories and applications of packaging, he proposed the establishment of a field of packaging at the undergraduate and graduate levels, which resulted in the admission of the first group of students in the university. Other services of Iranmanesh in the scientific branch of packaging industries include the responsibility of "coating sciences" in organizing, assessing needs and planning the field of continuous engineering of packaging technology with a focus on agricultural products.

Seyed Mostafa Iranmanesh is an international applied researcher at Scandinavia University and an official member of the faculty approved by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.

Cooperation with international projects

Iranmanesh is the first instructor of the Codex Alimentarius (Scientific Export and Import Regulation) workshops in Iran, organized by UNDP (United Nations Development Program). In later years he collaborated on the United Nations Civil Syntax project.

Other international projects implemented in cooperation with Iranmanesh in the country include the Food and Agriculture Organization TCP project with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Horticulture of the Ministry of Jihad for Agriculture, which includes 14 different applications in the field of packaging.

Iranmanesh is responsible for three international specialized publications in the packaging industry in the form of licensees and responsible managers, with the aim of informing and familiarizing producers and consumers, as well as creating employment for packaging activists.
