The Pro Wrestling Mini Museum is a virtual museum[1] created with the aim to preserve the rich history of professional wrestling. It was started in 2019 by Mike Parker, an avid collector, and fan of wrestling, to offer a digital footprint of professional wrestling, where fans can find photos and signed souvenirs by the wrestlers.[2]

The Pro Wrestling Mini Museum, since its inception, has gained recognition for being a digital footprint of a bygone era of wrestling. It is accessible free of cost to the global audience showcasing memorabilia[3] like classic signed magazines, ring/TV-worn pieces, line-up sheets from the WWF, WCW, ECW as well as vintage apparel.[4]

History

The Pro Wrestling Mini Museum was curated by Mike Parker in 2019, but the foundation of creating such a place dates way back to when he began collecting wrestling 8 x10s and magazines. Parker’s visit to the Pro Wrestling World Museum in Allentown, PA, served as the initial influence that pushed him in the direction of establishing an online community. Apart from that, his visits to the Adventure Land in NJ also fueled his desire to preserve the culture of wrestling.[5]

The 2018 tragic news announcement - the termination of Pro Wrestling World, resulted in Parker opening an offline basement Wrestling Wall, which eventually became the basis of the foundation of the Pro Wrestling Mini Museum.[6]

Since its launch in 2019, this mini-museum has been home to several collectibles shared publicly for the global audience to browse through. It has even become one of the most sought-after online museums appreciated by not only the fans but also industry specialists and other prolific people.
