Privada Cigar Club was founded in 2017 by Brian and Ofelia Desind. It is an Orlando, Florida based premium cigar company that began with a monthly subscription model before branching into other forms of premium cigar retail.[1]

Membership and Services

As of July 2020, the original Privada Cigar Club subscription closed to new members. Launched in April 2020, Farm Rolled, is currently the only subscription option available.

In May 2020, Privada Cigar Club launched an e-commerce shop that expanded from only the rare cigars that were previously featured in monthly boxes, to regular production cigars in select sizes, spanning notable brands like Padron and Davidoff to more boutique brands like HVC and Room 101.

Brand Partnerships

Recent partnerships include brands such as Padilla Cigars,[2] HVC,[3] Room 101 Cigars,[4] Paul Stulac Cigars [5]

Notable partnerships have included Aganorsa Leaf, Davidoff Cigars, J.C. Newman Cigar Company, Avo Cigars, Illusione Cigars, and others.

Limited Cigar Association

In July 2020, Privada Cigar Club introduced a new venture called Limited Cigars Association, or LCA, which is the company’s initiative to revive brick and mortar premium cigars shops throughout the United States by sharing limited quantities of popular products on a monthly basis. Each shop in the LCA receives a small quantity of the featured cigar that is then advertised across Privada Cigar Club’s social media channels. The quantities typically sell out quickly.

Spirited Smoke

In March 2020, Founder, Brian Desind, launched a YouTube series entitled Spirited Smoke, which is a documentary format series that explores various cigar pairings. Each episode chooses one beverage or culinary item and explores how the item pairs with cigars. As of July 2020, there are three episodes to note. Episode 1 features rum, Episode 2 features wine and Episode 3 features coffee. Each episode is focused on educating the viewer on the history of the focus item as well as how to pair properly with various cigar profiles.
