Prime 1 Studio Co. Ltd. is a Japanese manufacturing company based out of Tokyo focusing on High End, High Quality, and High Detail character statues across many licenses including: Warner Bros., Hasbro, NBC Universal entertainment and many more.[1]They specialize in statues of 1/4, 1/3 and 1/2 scale with extremely accurate character likeness and complex, eye-catching bases. Their state-of-the-art 3D modeling and innovative concept design touch the hearts of pop-culture fans all around the world. The statues are produced mainly with polystone, but also use translucent resin, mixed media fabric, and many other materials. Prime 1 Studio has also collaborated with many artists and other statue makers such as Sideshow Collectibles, Megahouse, Blitzway, Josh Nizzi, Jason Fabok, Lee Bermejo, Square Enix and many more. Prime 1 Studio is comprised of a team of passionate and dedicated professionals, whose endeavors and creative genius produce breathtaking representations of iconic pop culture heroes, villains, and scenes.

History

Prime 1 Studio at the Japan Wonder Festival 2013 Prime 1 Studio began in 2012. Back in a time where there were no larger scale High-end Transformers statues on the Market. At this time, Prime 1 Studio broke the market open with the first Megatron from the Michael Bay blockbuster, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.[2] It's earliest licenses include Transformers and the Batman Arkham series line, which served as the forefront of their statue production.From then on, Prime 1 Studio began releasing statues across many other licenses, exhibiting at events such as Comic Con, Wonder Festival, and Toy shows from all around the world; eventually climbing the ladder and becoming one of the most renowned and successful statue and collectible manufacturers in the world.






Shops

Shinjuku Gallery Shop

The Shinjuku Gallery Shop was opened in 2019. It is located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, one of the primary central hubs in Tokyo Japan at the Marui Annex. It is Prime 1 Studio's main physical shop. As the title suggests it is a gallery/shop combo. They have statues available to buy and pre-order, as well as merchandise and goods across many licenses. The Gallery Shop follows a pop-culture related theme which changes periodically.[3]

Harajuku Cutie1 Shop

The Cutie1 shop was opened in 2020 and was the first time the new stylized deformation figures Cutie1 were available to the world. Located in the fashion capital of Tokyo, the Harajuku Cutie1 Shop has friendly staff surrounded by a stylish atmosphere. You can buy Cutie1 figures, goods, and much more. The shop features amazing decorations as well as a photo-booth area.[4]

Online content

In addition to exhibiting at events, Prime 1 Studio has a steady stream of Online content available. In September 2020, Prime 1 Studio shook the internet with its Next Level Showcase[5]. Hailed as one of the best online showcases of all time, this showcase featured never-before-seen product reveals, exclusive interviews, in-depth reviews, and more. Thousands of viewers have tuned in from all around the world to witness Prime 1 Studio's latest products. The events have been guest hosted by special guest DC Ambassador Dante Carver. They have since continued with a Phase 1 Showcase and continue to bring content via Online Showcases. Prime 1 Studio also posts a variety of content on their official youtube channel including Online Exhibitions, Video Reviews, Special Product Reveals, Unboxing, and many more.[6]

Cutie1

The Cutie1 DC character line-up In 2020, Prime 1 Studio released a new line of collectible figures. Cutie1 Toys are the child of Prime 1's exquisite detail and "Kawaii" Japanese style; crafted with the idea of giving you a more affordable figure with the same collector's value. These special collectible figures are made of soft vinyl and their design is based on what you on a plush toy with button eyes, zipper mouths, and stitched designs. These stylized figures stand 12 cm (about 5 inches) tall. These figures are available on Prime 1 Studio's homepage as well as Amazon[7] (see below).
