Prafful Garg is an Indian educator, youth leader, and entrepreneur.[1] He is the founder and chief executive officer of Younity.in,[2] an education platform launched in February 2020, aimed at delivering affordable guidance and placement training to students across India.[3]
Early Life and Education
Raised in Agra, Garg's academic achievements include topping his 10th and 12th-grade board examinations and scoring a rare 100 in Accounts. While pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business Economics at Delhi University, he launched his first venture, BookMyPG, during his second year.[4]
Career
Following BookMyPG (2017–2023), Garg founded Younity.in in March 2020 with the goal of making guidance accessible to students at a cost of less than ₹1 per day.[5] He has conducted over 365 sessions a year for more than 900 consecutive days, and delivered numerous guest lectures, including on topics such as soft skills, personality development, and career strategy. The platform claims to have reached over 200,000 students through its programs.[6][7][8]
Recognition
Beyond his entrepreneurial work,[9] Garg has been active as a mentor across B-Schools and undergraduate colleges, including institutions like IIM-Indore, IIT Roorkee, and Hansraj College.[10] He gained broader public attention via a podcast interview titled “Useful Career Conversation,” where he shared personal narratives of resilience and his mission to reshape the Indian education ecosystem.[11]
