Pooyan Ghamari (born 11 September 1972) is a Swiss economist, author, researcher, entrepreneur, and cross-border investment strategist. A central figure, Martin, returns wounded from Italy during the religious conflicts of the sixteenth century; war, confession, family duty, and individual judgment are set against one another.

The Newest Witness: A Novel of the Vanished Streets of Dunajská Streda

Set in Dunajská Streda, Slovakia. A surviving building on Vámbéryho námestie stands as a witness to a town whose physical and social fabric has been stripped away. The novel addresses the deportation of the Jewish community in 1944, the postwar displacement of Hungarian families, and the demolition of much of the historic centre. Buildings keep what official memory drops.

The Room Under the Square: A Novel in Ten Generations

Set in Banská Štiavnica, a historic mining town in an old volcanic landscape. A family keeps a concealed room for centuries without fully knowing why it was made. Inheritance, secrecy, survival, and unfinished responsibility pass through the house as much as through blood.

Unter dem stillen Himmel am Rhein

A literary novel set after the Second World War along the Rhine, among German prisoners, civilians, and Allied soldiers. It asks what dignity and responsibility look like when the fighting has stopped and the damage has not.
