History

Placecube, formerly MYGOV Limited, was founded in 2015 in Reading, United Kingdom, by Jason Fahy.[5] The company was founded to acquire knowledge hub businesses and accelerate the digital transformation journeys of various government and non-profit organizations. Placecube is recognized for its Digital Place software-as-a-service offerings and works with open data and standards. Cubes are classified as 'Experience,' 'Feature,' 'Service,' 'Community,' 'Integration,' or 'Connecting.' The Digital Place product is personalised to the customer's needs based on this choice of alternatives.[6]

The business has amassed a clientele of over 150,000 users from 5,000 businesses in 80 countries.
