Phil Telfeyan is an American civil rights attorney and co-founder of Equal Justice Under Law (civil rights organization), a nonprofit civil rights impact litigation firm based in Washington, D.C.[1] He co-founded the organization with his friend and former Harvard Law School classmate, Alec Karakatsanis, in 2014.[1] As Executive Director of Equal Justice Under Law, Phil has been involved with a wide variety of lawsuits on issues such as Bail,[2] Revocation|driver's license suspensions,[3] and abusive Pretrial services programs.[4]
